The Wiichi Oskiiaga Youth Mentorship Program (WOYMP) is a department program service from the Eagle Urban Transition Centre, Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs. The Wiichi Oskiiaga Youth Mentorship Program assists youth who are aging out of Child and Family Services system.
The remote-online program is 12 weeks and provides connection to Indigenous culture, medicines, men and women’s teachings, ceremonies, traditional family parenting and land based way of life. We have presentations on personal development, individualized goal setting, personal support, guidance and mentorship while transitioning to independent living, through housing support, education, training, finances and employment.
