The Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs congratulates the Southern Chiefs Organization on signing of Health Transformation MOU

Treaty One Territory, Manitoba – The Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs (AMC) Grand Chief Arlen Dumas is issuing the following statement today, to applaud the Southern Chiefs Organization (SCO) on the signing of their Health Transformation Memorandum of Understanding.
Grand Chief Arlen Dumas said, “On behalf of the Assembly, I would like to congratulate Grand Chief Jerry Daniels, the leadership of the SCO, particularly Chief Karen Batson of the Pine Creek First Nation, Chair of the SCO Chiefs Health Action Table, on the signing of their Health Transformation MOU.”
“This MOU will solidify and fund a process that will enable the SCO and their constituent members to continue the good work they are doing for their southern First Nations in the critical area of Health,” said Grand Chief Dumas.
