Treaty One Territory, Manitoba – Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs (AMC) Grand Chief Arlen Dumas is issuing the following statement today, to applaud the organizers and attendees at last night’s Black Lives Matter Rally.
“I would like to acknowledge the strong and powerful advocates that led a rally of 20,000 people supported by First Nation allies and Winnipeg citizens to change the systemic racism and racial injustice in America and Canada. This has to happen for change to happen” said Grand Chief Dumas.
