Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs Launches New Information App

Treaty One Territory, Manitoba – The Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs (AMC) launched a new information app today that will enable it to share important updates related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and help make information it shares more convenient.
“We are pleased to launch the new AMC Information App as a further way to share information on COVID-19 and connect directly with leadership of First Nations and First Nations citizens in Manitoba during this pandemic,” said AMC Grand Chief Arlen Dumas. “It is important for the AMC to utilize technology and look at innovative ways to communicate, especially as everyone is working to protect First Nations.”
The AMC has been adding COVID-19 information and resources to the app, and also plans to provide more Assembly-related information. The move to have an app aligns with First Nations in Manitoba that are also using apps to connect with their citizens.
