On Thursday August 15, the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs will host the first of three town hall events in a series titled “I’m First Nation and I Vote.” In this first town hall event, First Nation citizens will have the opportunity to question provincial party leaders about their approach to First Nation concerns in the provincial election.
Each event will also begin with a march in which First Nations from across Manitoba will gather to make a strong statement that the First Nation vote should not be overlooked in these elections.
