The First Nations Environmental Contaminants Program started in 2000 and for the last 20 years provided funding to support First Nations communities in addressing their concerns about environmental pollutants, conducting projects in collaboration with academically trained researchers.

Should your community have interest in investigating environmental contaminants with link to human health in your environment, please use the attached Call for Proposals as a guide to prepare a proposal and apply to this program for funding.

Proposals will be accepted until the deadline of November 5, 2021, 11:59 pm, Mountain Time. Details for preparing project submissions are contained here.
