In 2012, scholar Ashley Goodman collaborated with the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs’ Eagle’s Nest program to conduct a research project for her Master’s thesis.
“The Project involved Eagle’s Nest youth who shared their stories with me related to social support, residential mobility and health (a topic chosen by EUTC) using narrative and photography,” said Goodman, in an email.
Her research was recently published in ScienceDirect – an online platform of peer-reviewed scholarly literature. To read: Healthy spaces: Exploring urban Indigenous youth perspectives of social support and health using photovoice click the link.
