The Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs (AMC) will host its 37th Annual General Assembly (AGA) on Treaty One Territory from September 10–12, 2025, at the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Chiefs, Councillors, Knowledge Keepers, Youth, and delegates from across Manitoba will gather to discuss key priorities, make decisions, and advance the collective direction of First Nations in the province.
The AGA is an important space for exercising First Nations governance, strengthening Nation-to-Nation relationships, and addressing issues that impact our communities. Over the three days, participants will hear leadership reports, review resolutions, and engage in dialogue on matters including sovereignty, lands and resources, child and family well-being, housing, education, health, and economic development.
This assembly continues AMC’s long-standing commitment to advocating for and protecting the rights of First Nations while ensuring that the voices of our Nations are heard in all decisions that affect us.
